MICROPHONE PREAMPLIFIER

MPA-104 is a 500 format microphone preamplifier specially designed with a new approach for non-linear frequency response applied to microphone amplification.

The MPA-104 is the first preamp in this series to come with this new concept which consists of creating a harmonic pre-excitation on certain defined frequencies in order to color the sound.
This preamp will make your microphones sound like you've never heard them before.

this preamplifier is perfect for all dynamic microphones it has a gain reserve of +65db a high headroom and of course a phantom power supply for your condenser microphones this preamplifier excels in recording drums in overhead, kikdrum, and snare, the preamp has a very fast attack and a response in the bass that is bigger than life

this preamplifier is quite unique in its approach and responds to the new recording mode where we are looking for a sound color that is much more pronounced than the simple preamps embedded in sound cards which are sometimes flat and lifeless.

A propos de l'utilisation du TRIM output.

Cette fonction "trimer" est placée après le transformateur audio (out).

Elle vous permet de doser le volume du signal que vous allez envoyer à votre convertisseur ou périphérique : table de mixage, égaliseur, compresseur, etc.

Vous pouvez rentrer un signal très fort avec le gain et atténuer la sortie pour ne pas saturer l’étage suivant.

Attention, ce potentiomètre va beaucoup influencer la headroom du préampli disponible.

Pour bien régler votre préampli, voici quelques recommandations :

1.  Commencer par régler votre trimer à fond (0db a droite )
2.  Régler votre gain selon la sensibilité de votre microphone pour ne pas saturer l’étage de préamplification
3.  Vous pouvez commencer à joué avec le trimer pour ajuster le niveau de sortie .
4.  Plus vous envoyer de gain et plus vous joué avec la distorsion harmoniques.
